Hi, My name is Ian and I am the founder of Hometown. I created Hometown because of a school project. Seriously. I hated my previous job, so with the awesome support of wife and family, I went back to school to get my degree at junior college.

For a class, I had to come up with a way to help small businesses better compete and survive. This assignment, started me on the road to what is Hometown.

We believe that small businesses are what make cities and areas unique. They make and sell really cool products that you can not find anywhere else. Also, you know that the products will be top quality because if something goes wrong, the owner is the person that has to hear the complaint personally.
